"...staff and riders to sign a declaration confirming that they have no past or present involvement in doping. Anyone who does not sign the declaration will leave the team, as will anyone who does sign but is subsequently found to be in breach of the policy. The team will also terminate contracts if individuals admit to any doping in their pasts."
OK, I understand why Brailsford is doing this. But as the article says, this will impact various key members such as Michael Rogers and Sean Yates (at least).
But more worryingly... for the future this is the correct approach. But let's say they had someone with a history like Hincapie or Millar on the squad. Doped at the time when everyone was doing it, but made a clean break. Something like this would just force them to keep the truth even deeper, surely, at a time when the sport needs honesty and a clean slate?

That's all the article says about the matter and there's no reference for the quoted statement, but perhaps DB is happy enough that there's no proof that SY doped. As above, it's just a PR exercise and more than likely one passed down from Sky top brass. I reckon DB's piggy in the middle really.
