vehicle thefts in harrogate
Discussion
"A message from North Yorkshire Police. Overnight on the 16/17th October, two separate dwellings were subjected to a burglary in the Rossett area where access was gained through the back door before their high performance vehicles were taken from the drive using the keys. Please ensure you are vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour in the area, in addition to ensuring vehicles are parked within garages where appropriate. For any further security advice, please contact your local Safer Neighbourhood department on 101."
Next door had an attempted break in to get keys to their 4x4 a couple of months back.
I've changed my locks to anti drill, snap, pick units after a local locksmith stated that my existing locks would be easy to pick. £90 well spent I think.
If they get though the doors somehow and disregard the alarm, than they will be introduced to Mr Beretta 92FS

Only CO/2 powered but pretty much identical to the original.

Not sure what "what"? refers to but I'm guessing the mention of 100% Eurolocks?
If so, what I think Gemini means is they don't bother with kicking the old style doors in as it makes too much noise, therefore, nearly all the burglaries focus on Eurolocks as they are quiet and quick to break through.

Ahh right. It is a common MO, but not that exclusive. If so, what I think Gemini means is they don't bother with kicking the old style doors in as it makes too much noise, therefore, nearly all the burglaries focus on Eurolocks as they are quiet and quick to break through.
It is mainly due to properties with expensive cars on the drive also usually having doors fitted with euro profile locks.
Around a quarter of burglaries involve an insecure door/window - madness
