After wasting several days + on googleing and phone calls, I cannot find anyone that can tune/remap a GM E38 ECM!!!
Everyone I have spoken with including our old favorites, all use Motec!

The only one company that was recommended were Wortec, but they are not contactable, despite many tries via email and they don't have a number listed anywhere!

...would add another 3k+ to the bill which I can ill-afford at the moment.

Does anyone know of a good, preferably mobile, GM ECM tuner out there? I am stumped!

You can buy them reflashed in the US for retrofit cars. That's where I bought mine. If you Google ls7 street harnesses etc that'll probably get you to their pcm's. Or, look for Geoff Schwartz who builds Ultima's in the US. Or you could look for something like EFI live from Ringram (Richard Ingram) and he'll be able to either do the tune for you or sell you the software you need.

Have you tried LS Power Ltd at Bedford.

He did mine and it runs well.

Paul at Wortec is not great at answering emails. Try 07775 934556. He is the guy that GM turn to for tuning any high performance GM car. Managed to find, resolve ecu wiring problems and retune my beast while reducing the idle temp from 96C to 88-89C. The tune was safe upto at least 197mph thumbup

The autobionic boys use him to remotely tune their cars - he's that good :-D

If you still get no response PM me your details and I will get hold of him for you.

That's the guy I mentioned above Craig, runs a shop in Birmingham, did the BMW and the RX7.

The good ones don't have to advertise, the best ones actively avoid it.

Yes you are right, he does not need to advertise. There are also no markings on his premises but he always seems to have plenty of work on!
