Castle Combe Saturday 20th: Stroke Assoc Charity Day

The Stroke Association are again holding "Supercar Saturday", this Saturday 20th October at Castle Combe in aid of their deserving charity -
Simon Tilling, double Combe GT champion, Aston Martin V12
Slim Borgudd, Tyrrell F1, MG ZR and ZS
Dan Ludlow, MG Trophy front runner and Metro championship winner, MG ZR
Peter Burchill, PBIC class champion, MG ZS
Kyle Tilley, Combe Classic FF champion, BMW M3
Mark Stacey, talented racer,ex MG Trophy, Porsche Boxster 3.2
Rick Rowles, Combe Saloons stalwart, Factory Mugen Honda Civic
Mark Rawlins, MGB GTV8 4.8
Lawrence Horne, Noble M12
Ian Gillingham, Porsche Carrera GT (yes, that's the 612BHP one!)
Plus cars including Radical SR3 x 4, a bunch of Morgan championship racers (if recovered from last weekend's racing), TVR Sagaris, every Evo and Scooby under the rising sun,
Also invited and attending subject to other racing committments are:

Nigel Greensall - Combe outright lap record holder
Gates open from 09:00, come early to get the best pick of cars and drivers.
Admission £5, rides from £20 up and an Autsolo organised by Bristol Motor Club where you drive in your own car.
Cracking day out and every penny goes straight to the charity on the day.

Excellent day indeed. Thanks to Mr.Apples for being a very agreeable passenger (Chim S/C), and thanks to all the hard work that went into organising it. Does anyone have any info on Ken Robson? I'm sure it was him who had a big 'off' in a small yellow car and damaged the barriers (took them an hour to fix the damage). Hoping he was ok...
