About to pull the trigger on a C220 AMG styling coupe in Black.
£3800 down
£344 a month for 3 years
Guaranteed value / by back yaddy ya etc etc
I want something thats economical, reliable, 4 seats and looks nice. Prefferably new if possible for a similar budget. Ideas?
Coming out of a z4 3.0. R1 for speed so doesnt need to be rocket ship fast.

Great car, relatively economical, fast enough and a very torquey engine (300lb ft) and I can fit my family and their corresponding gear in.
Sport versions come well equipped but the engine could be more refined. Mine is an auto, the paddles aren't exactly the last word in driver involvement, but it is a great auto box and is a surprisingly sporty steer when the mood takes you. It has a great interior and I think it looks fantastic. It also has the most incredible headlights of any car I have ever had...
Worth noting they have pissed about with the spec recently so the old sport is now the same as the current sport + (bar some red stitching) and they have a slightly downgraded sport model.
Some great deals from Merc on them but watch running costs. Not had mine serviced yet but I know it will be pricier than the equivalent BMW. Finance deals tie you into uisng a main dealer. You can fix costs with monthly payments.
I looked at a 3 series as well but deals weren't as favourable and I'm not a massive fan of the looks.
I think they (W204) are being replaced in 2014.

Thanks for that - I understand they do a servicing pack for £300 for the full duration so may be worth noting that. I took one for a drive and really liked it. Was going to say they were trying quite a bit to get the payments down without comprimising on spec.Off topic - are they going to make the A class in a 3 door? i think it will look smart
