Has anyone purchased anything from the shop there?

I just want to know what the discounts are like.

Thanks

Decent discounts and a fair amount of popular stuff (not just odd color or weird stuff like some outlets).

Nowhere near the discount level of tumi outlets in the US though - tumi generally swap the $ for £ for their pricing, so they are substantially cheaper in the US even without visiting an outlet there.

Stuff in Tumi outlet stores in the states is a lot cheaper than the UK. Was in one last week and picked up a new wallet at £50 instead of £100+ here.

Not got the same brand as Tumi but I quite like Antler bags. They seem well made and relatively reasonably priced. Also - at another end of the scale - Tesco's Finest suitcases aren't bad. Got one here which has literally been beat to hell (probably 50+ flights in the hold) and still keeps going. Not a name brand, but looks decent and was an excellent purchase.

Honestly, tumi is some of the best luggage you can buy. Some of my pieces have been round the world with me dozens of times and still look brand new with notba hint of wear or damage.
Good and pretty comprehensive warranty too (probably what nickyboy is collecting).

Yes its pricey, and to those who travel rarely probably a total waste, but if you travel frequently it is worth it.

Funny you mention Antler - I make 100+ flights a year globally and have had an Antler suit carrier for about 5 years now and although it's a bit battered and covered in stickers, it is still fully functional with no tears or zips etc broken. Good value for money also.
