fuel pressure pump stoped working

Hi everyone,
I am not able to start the engine because the fuel pressure pump stoped working. Any considerations? Someone knows where the fuel pump is located?

the fuel pump is in the side pod on the left side of the car

just in front of the rear wheel

can you hear the relay click on ?

I can't hear the fizzling noise after I turn the key in the last possible position before starting the engine.

Are all your dash warning lights on?
The reason I ask, I have had that problem a few times and it was the car immobilising. Itself so I could never hear the pump arming.

when I turn the key into last position the battery lamp and oil lamp are on.
A fiend of mind said that it could be the immobilizing as well.
How did you fix it?

if you can hear the fizzling noise then the fuel pump is ok

do you have a spark ?

you know which relay is responsible for the pump? Or should I test it by myself? I hear a relay when I turn the key, but could it be also for some other stuff?

Easy to access fuel pump. It is behind a cover in front of the left hand rear wheel. Check if the pump is getting power. Relay is one of the 4 on the engine bulkhead. Sorry I can't remember which, and can't check today!

I had same problem but the fuel pump had no power turned out to be relay located on the bulkhead.

Since then its had upgraded pump and wiring relay etc.
Check the wiring while your there its very poor.

Not the sme prob then, as mine would have no warning lights, sounds like the fuse on the bulkhead, can be a bugger to find as it lays along the bulk head you can trace the wire to a 30amp fuse, check that, as it sounds that if you hear the relay it prob is the fuse.

ok guys, the fuse was the problem. How many amperes is it?

it needs to be a 20, but i think you need to check the rest of the fuel pump wiring loom, the wires can melt together near the front turbo causing a short.

Looks like a poor quality aftermarket holder put in with the wiring upgrade. I've seen these melt before, 20A is fine with a good quality waterproof holder will sort it.
