Hi All,

What do people know about getting US made kits through the IVA with regards to glass??

I have been told that the kit (FFR 65 Coupe FYI) has DOT marked glass... how does this go for getting through the IVA inspection requirements?

I know Craig7L got a SLC through (a nightmare I believe) but not sure what he did for glass?

Thanks
Mike

OK, good to know. That removes one issue... a few more to sort out.

Thanks

You might be able IVA it without any glass, then you don't need working wipers, washers or demist either. A bit easier to get away with on a Seven though.

Unlikely i'm afraid.
As a coupe it will have window frames and roof so it obviously should have windows. In which case the IVA inspector will either fail it because it has no glass or refuse to test it as it is not complete. In both cases you will loose your £450.
