Sorry can't help as you have wire colours there that should not be. You also don't have wire colours I would expect in there.
The red/black for instance is the backlight for the switch so should not go to any of the contacts.

Would help if you could show the connections to the motor then I may be able to work out where they are wrong.

Thanks for the reply steve, i will have another look tomorrow and and trace where the wires go to, as suspect from what you say that the wires have been joined somewhere and colours will change.

Cheers Karl.

As a guide you should find the folowing wires.
Green Ignition switched supply to the switch
Green Ignition switched supply to the motor
Blue/Green (Fast) SW to motor
Red/Lt Green (Slow) SW to motor
Brown/Lt Green (Park) motor to SW
Black Earth for motor

Red/Black and Black are backlight for the switch fed from the sidelights.

making progress, have had a closer look and found all the wires that you have listed steve just need to know how they should be switched.
on my car the green from the ignition and motor are connected together and then go to the slow switch as green, the blue on my crude drawing is actually blue/green,the red/black is actually red/lt green,green/brown is brown/lt green, black on the motor goes to earth.
any chance you could do me a simple drawing of how they should all be switched please, knowledge is everthing!

I don't think it can be done with two separate switches because the park command has to come back through the switch in the off position. If one or other of the switches is in the off position it will always be trying to park. Also with two switches there is the possibility for them both to be on and the slow and fast circuits of the motor will be fighting each other.

I hope this isn't a thread hijack but I've been wondering how to alter the wiper parking location on the GTR. Right now, the wiper assembly returns to
'park' on the far right (mine is LHD) but I'd like to get it parked in the center of the windshield, pointing straight up. Where is the adjustment for that setting?
Thanks,
V

The parking switch is internal to the motor and works off a cam so don't think this is possible.

Rich,

as Karl said the motor´s parking position is determined by it´s internal switches.
But you can reposition the lever that is screwed to the motor shaft by approx. 90 degrees until
the wiper parks in the center of the screen.
