Well, I had to take Thursday off work as my wife was away, dropped the kids at School and thought i'd waste a couple of hours at my local car auction, with a bacon roll and a can of pop.
Erm.... proved to be an expensive(ish) day off.......

Yeah, this is the one that needs a bit of money thrown at it.......
Hopefully she'll be good by this time next week with a new water pump, thermostat, new coolant and fan clutch if needed.

She looks well worth saving, I can't see any rust either that's what killed my 328, the waterpump and thermostat is a pretty straight forward job on these as well, not very dear to do either.

The bodywork is solid and free of scars, scuffs and dents. The roof and rear window are in top condition and the leather just needs a really good clean and some re-colouring to the drivers bolster.
So hopefully a realy thorough service and some attention to the cooling system will see the car good for some winter sun.

The car had tax and a freh MOT. I paid £800 for it and i have a mechanic friend that is after lots of private work at the moment, so i dont mind shelling out a few hundred pound on oil, filters, ATF fluid, plugs and the cooling systm components.
