Whistling Noise on Cooper S

Hi Guys and Girls, my wife has just picked up a 2008 Mini Cooper S in Pepper White with some go faster black stripes. I have to say I am really impressed with the performance and handling so far BUT there is an annoying whistling noise when it gets over about 40 MPH. It isn't coming from the engine, gearbox or brakes and appears to be from the front and/or roof......

Any ideas?

does it have a sunroof - if so could it be this? Check all door seals are in place properly? Could it be turbo wistle?

Hi no sunroof and the noise is constant no matter what revs the engine is at so I don't think that it is the turbo (and I have never heard a turbo whistle like this), window or door seal is possible so I will double check these. Thanks for your reply.
