Rear No. Plates - now illegal !
Discussion
We have just got a new rear plate for the Griffith - Honeycomb with the new font - no problem.
You can no longer get the old style font tho' - had to get a new front plate for the Nova and the new font doesn't look retro enough.
Edited to add - I believe that the DVLA will no longer allow the back lit plates on new vehicles.

. Anyone else heard this.
That ruling has been in place for quite some time. You can keep your existing honeycomb plates but can't have new ones made up. They now have to be a standard format with the new style font.
