To all those who accuse the star of miming here is irrefutable proof that she does sing live.

But she is some idiot that forgets to sing half a song?
To me it sounds like she was miming at the end because of how consistent the vocals were whilt at the same time she was dancing a lot and moving her mouth away from the mic.
The video maker on the other hand thinks the mic was working throughout and she was singing half arsed at the start and then fully at the end?

My thoughts on it are that the wrong backing track was played.
I'd imagine they have two tracks.
1. A backing track which includes all instrumentation along with backing vocals but no Cole which allows her to sing 'live'.
2. As above but with Coles vocals so she can mime.
I assume they played 1 but were supposed to play 2.
The fact that the violent, chavvy, racist little saucepot was spawned from a singing competition makes it even funnier.

What's common for this sort of thing is that they use the track with the vocal track on, but then sing over the top of it - it helps when you are dancing at the same time and can't breathe properly for singing. Also if there are any high notes you have trouble with that were autotuned on the recording you don't need to try and hit them.I'd imagine they have two tracks.

When someone who can actually sing uses the same sort of track (Beyonce is quite a good example of this) they'll improvise over the top of it when they aren't doing so much dancing.
Anyone who has to release a video in an attempt to prove they can sing.....Is pretty darn desperate if you ask me (and just strengthens the opposite case).
And I don't think anyone is/was accusing her of not being able to sing....maybe being a talentless gimp....but not, not being able to sing (not on PH anyhoo, as said above this forum is labelled 'Music').
I still would though.

No-one can do that kind of high-energy aerobics and sing properly at the same time, you'd asphyxiate. You'd be able to lip-sync and be able to put in the odd live line where the mic would be opened at key points to aid the illusion but that's it.
There are a few of these videos whereby the singer is lipsyncing to their song, they can't hear themselves so if someone has decided to record the vocal anyway it will always be fairly terrible.
Whilst I find Ms Cole and similar particularly hateful it is a little unfair to make such a recording as if you're unable to hear yourself singing then regardless of your ability you're going to sound awful. However if your job is to perform aerobics whilst lip-syncing to a pop song then she probably did OK.
