Cheap 4x4 for winter suggestions?

Looking for some ideas please folks, want to keep the pork in the garage over winter.

Something under 3 bags ideally

Plan to use it to drive to work, so it may also have to be driven into central london on the odd occassion, so nothing too agricultural tbh

I live on the Mendips and I found the JEEP Grand Cherokee surprisingly capable in the severe snow of recent winters. The JEEP is cheap to buy, comfortable and well equipped.

Jeep, Jeep or Jeep, don't bother with the 2.5 stick with the 4.0l straight six, either Cherokee or Grand Cherokee you'll find a nice one for half your 3k budget.

I am a huge Land Rover fan, but I can't see that being in great condition. It wouldn't be good if it turns out the bulkhead and chassis need a lot of welding/ fabrications in the near future.

I was actually think more for me, I've always fancied one, a tatty one at that to learn a bit more about restoration, fascinating hobby.
