How many E types in Lavender can there be?

I have a challenge! Many years ago I owned an E Type convertible. I regret selling it and would like to find it once more, maybe the current owners would be interested in selling? Anyway, I have done a DVLA check and it is licensed here in the UK so still exists. Its pretty distinctive in its 70s colour of Lavender (pale bluey mauve to you and me) and someone out there on Piston Heads must have seen it, live near it or owns it. Can we see whether the Power of Piston Heads can find it for me? please pm me if you know of it. Its registered XGC ...M and I will post a photo of when it was mine. thanks and fingers crossed
I suspect that might be mine as I have loaded it up there. I cannot believe I cannot locate this car! I mean, its not a common car, it is registered, surely someone somewhere knows it?

In circa 1973/74 an acquaintance of my dads who owned a militaria shop in Camden Passage in Islington, bought an M reg V-12 E 2 plus 2 in the same colour. I can picture it now as if it were yesterday. My dad had his Silver one ( BJN 438K where are you now ??? ) at the time and both of those colours were Very rare E Type Colours.
Back then a V - 12 E , Was A VERY Cool car to be in, I well remember the heads that used to turn when I was out with my late Dad.
Can well understand that you want that car back, Have you tried Petronel ( JDC E Type register ) ? She is a mine of information and very helpfull .

Reference DVLA.....I have always found them like Fort Knox. As a salesman by profession I have tried every trick in the book but still never managed to get a single thing out of them. Who ever your friend was LowDrag he was a better man than my Gunga din

Midland Bank, yes taken over by HSBC, but will no doubt re emerge when HSBC drop a gooley a la RBS and the resurgence of NatWest!!!!!

If you inflate that with rpi it would cost £4.88 - it ain't so much more expensive today as you'd think.op, sometimes the trick with tracking down a car is 'momentum' i.e. keeping up the visibility that you are searching for and ideally wanting to buy this car. contact all the obvious on a continuous basis [jdc, jec et al] plus all the e-type registers...and not just in the uk, place editorial in all the classic magazines...many have sections dedicated to this and the glossier puplications will normally put your search in print if you have an interesting 'tale/history' as to why you want this car.
