I will soon be another year older and my wife is asking what I would like...
I quite like the look of the TVR watch
Question is, is it any good? Anyone got any more pictures as the one above is the only one I can find. Does it have a date function at all?
Cheers for any info.

I bought one 3 months ago - it actually is manufactured by Sekonda and apparently has a good quality movement - this is according to the watch repairer after (in typical TVR style) the second hand fell off after 3 weeks. It is not a day/date watch but does have a stop-watch capability. The outer bezel has miles per hour 60mph - 400mph inscribed on it but this is decorative only and performs no useful function.
In all the watch looks and feels good quality and the TVR logo is certainly a conversation piece.

bod mode on
It is actually used for measuring the average speed of the wearer over the distance of a mile.....
You start at 0 or on the 12 and if it takes 60 seconds to cover the mile then the average speed is 60Mph....
If however you manage to do the mile in 15 seconds then the average speed would be 240Mph....
bod mode off

You do know that it will leak if you wear it in the shower, the timing will be out and something will work intermittently. Months after buying it you will find an extra button, purpose unknown!
On the upside, it will tick as loud as big ben and people will stop and stare the second you walk out of the house.
I think if you have a search through the forums this watch has been discussed before.

ROFLMAO
Still, it has an underlying Russian movement, which may ensure it will run reliably and more efficiently in the future. But don't expect any help once it goes out of warranty

Hey, Nubbin, some vandal has sprayed "Demo" all over your nice Tamora!
I know - they came round and did the same to my house, garage , children, etc! They even followed me around on holiday, and how they managed to get on the *ahem* "artistic" photos I took of Mrs. Nubbin, I'll never know!!
(Serves me right for using trial software for album production
)

Thanks for the info, sounds good so far. Do you have any pics you can post up/e-mail me at all?

Trevor, I found myself in the same position (another year - another "what do I want from the Mrs.?" day) and was considering the watch. Or the cuff links. I have a soft spot for aesthetically pleasing watches with bezels and small dials, especially the Rolex Daytona (but they are a bit more £'s) but I only occasionally wear cuff links. I'm still not sure about the watch and would also like more details - especially functions (alarm/chrono etc???). Also concerned about delivery time......?
Anybody bought one?
Anybody bought one?I have one, got one of the first and am very very happy with it. Ordered and got it in 2 days no problems. Well only that all my TVR friends now want to nick it!!!!
It looks good and keeps good time and has not fallen apart yet, but then it is a new model, with the sixty speed second engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
