Good quality luggage for reasonable money - ideas please
Discussion
Evening all,
The mrs and i are ready for some new luggage ie a new normal sized case each. I not really sure on the what budget is but I would guess about £100ish for 2 cases. I so ideas please (ps if they are sd by John Lewis that would be even better as we have some vouchers from there from when we got married last year)
We don't really use big cases that much due to flying
air most of the time but we're not off to CUBA at the end of November.
Thanks in advance
Matt

Hi Matt.
Try Tripp luggage at Debenhams - good quality in your price range and 'no quibble warranty'. There are often sales on - indeed one at the moment (although, note that many items are specially made for the sales and are slightly different to regular priced items) - http://www.debenhams.com/home-furniture/luggage/tr...
Otherwise, try TKMAXX http://www.tkmaxx.com/search?q=suitcase - often some good deals in there.
Good luck with your search and have a great holiday.
Cheers,
Jon

Not convinced by Tripp.
Had a few bags - one ripped and one lost a wheel (unable to find a suitable size castor for a replacement).
I'd go for Antler (try the Antler outlet stores) or take a look at the Tesco Finest bags. They're pretty decent. Also avoid spinner cases - more wheel to get knocked off by baggage handlers!
