It will get rid of most of the latest viruses.

i have tried www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/ an it works - tho it takes too much time for its session to load onto a dialup pc.

i heard theres one at www.mcafee.com but never saw it.

warning - the stuff by 'trend micro' above expires in just months an your'e forced to pay up for more use.
ALSO - their popmail filter prevents ALL mail from being accessed by corrupting your login settings!
[this is because their programmers are arseholes.]
