Its like a New Car!

Hi Mate..Looks better in black..Interior looks great..I like the parcel shelf speakers..Better than them being right behind you to the left and right..After all there's not much use for the shelf especially when the roof is down..Might have to photoshop your car in the BNG calendar now..
..Have you sorted the issue out with the running?...Ziga

..Have you sorted the issue out with the running?...ZigaMiss fire was down to the plugs. New ones fitted and it was good to go

Looking great! where did you get it done? I need a sympathetic ear for the SEAC...
Fitted myself getting the carpets from 'Carhoods' on Ebay, ive got details if you want them on this linkhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-Griffith-Chimaera-35...
Reasonable price and very little trimming needed at all.
Good quality set IMO

Great job! I am trying to do this work on my 280i.
I am not worrying so much about the carpeting, just the leather and leatherette. I had all the bigger pieces done for me, but am doing the ones that don't need stitching myself. I did the windscreen surround, but didn't like it, so am redoing it. The problem was the 25 year old foam wasn't even and it showed through the material; also some clamp marks. So I am starting with new foam.
When I removed the fascia the fibreglass (with the four vents) looked dirty; so I covered it with black leatherette. Looks great, but two of the plastic vents are a little warped. I'm not sure how to solve that.
My colour scheme is simple. Bodywork is Ferrari red, with a black top. Carpets are black. All major upholstery is in a camel colour (again like Ferrari), but the fascia and radio/heater/switch surround are in black.
I probably will not to go back to the walnut burl veneer. I expect to use the same camel coloured material instead. Also the strip on the door panels will be black, not veneer.
I hope I can put back everything where it belongs; well I like jig-saw puzzles!
Wilf.

Like the interior trimming, Wayne - you can do mine next!!!
Although regarding the respray - as you know I like yellow Wedges best!!!!
You just need to get out and drive it now - we are having a run up to Whitby
this Sunday and there may be 50+ TVRs meeting there
Let me know if you can come along and double the number of Wedges there will be
Cheers

Totally agree Richard. Yellow is best. Feast your eyes on that! Notice the logo down the side. Makes it look like a real racer (as though it's doing 100mph even while standing). You can see the similarity to Andy's ' The Beast'. Cheers
