Steamed up headlights on a v8v really common?

Hi guys, after some spirited wet weather driving my glasses are streamed up as bad as my glasses when I go in the bathroom after mrsmac has had a shower. With only 10k on the clock I'm surprised, but Harwoods Chichester Sid it is common. Is it a warranty job? My car is a 2007 plate.

Yes very common.
The "Fix" was some silica gel bags tywrapped within the light. Needless to say it doesn't take too long for the gel to get saturated.

All Astons seem to from what I gather. Both my my09 vantage and my DBS had the issue.

Both mine do it... I have just left it but it would be nice to know how to resolve the issue..
I was in the dealers the other week and the brand new DBS demo was exactly the same, I asked the service staff and they said it was 'normal' !

Jaguar solved the problem by putting in a small breather pipe....Aston just can't be bothered would be the correct response...

They fixed it by mentioning it in the handbook and saying its normal, if memory serves me correctly!

I heard its to do with the plastic lenses, not sure why

Thanks for the replies and ignoring both my typos and/or iPad autocorrect. I shall look into the silica gel option. I always enjoy a trip to Robert Dyas. Other hardware shops are available.

Aston fitted a breather pipe to the DB7 and even rigged up a small dimater hose from the air conditioning! Nothing helps...

Also happens on my Alfa and Marcos, I think it's just a function of faired-in lights perhaps.
