Ok, so here's a question....

I've changed from 16inch Spider's on the Tamora, to 18inch Spiders.

Do I need to get the wheel alignment checked and changed?

I know that the driving experience will be different form the smaller to the larger wheels, but what about the geometry?

Should it change?

Cheers.

Personally I would for the £90 or so cost. Ensure it's on a hunter machine IMO.

Thanks for the quick reply guys,

The car is off to Neil Garners on Thursday for some other work, so I'll see what transpires!

It's a good one this...
Only adjustables are front and rear camber and toe...
How can changing the wheels alter the camber and toe, which are fixed by bolts on the suspension ??

But, unless your new wheels tyres are exactly same diameter/circumference, you've altered the ride height yes/no ?

Better to have it done than not tho eh ?? Unless Neil says not to worry biggrin

The alignment was all over the place !

It must have been the same with the smaller wheels, but it didn't notice anywhere near the same as the 18's.

Need a new ball joint so when that has been done, it can all be finished.

It's already better than it was though!
