Skoda Dealer & Discounts

Morning,

Can anyone recommend a Skoda Dealer in/around the Midlands, I've got an order to place on a New Yeti on behalf of a friend and thought I'd ask for a recommendation before I "Google".

I've had limited dealings with both of the Skoda dealers in and around Coventry and they both seem ok (this has only been for parts and warranty work though)! Arbury Skoda based in Leamington Spa (very near the M40) and Listers Skoda in Coventry (right up near J3 of the M6).

lots of info on dealers on briskoda forum.

personally i'd start with drivethedeal.com as that is a great barometer for the best deals out there, then find a dealer who'll match/ beat that price.

When i bought my old Octavia Vrs and my current Fabia Vrs 6 years ago i used Rainworth Skoda near Mansfield.

I took the paperwork from Drivethedeal and/or Broadspeed showing what i could get one for and asked if they could match it, which they duly did for both cars saving a nice hefty chunk of money.

Whether they are still as good as they were then i don't know as my Octavia has long gone and the Fabia is 6 years old so out of the main dealer network.

Start with a drivethedeal quote. I took that to my dealer and said if you can match that then I'll order the car right now.

They matched it so I ordered it. Happy days, no going back and forth negotiating via some invisible sales manager.
