Car transportation from France to the UK...help!

We're having difficulty in getting quotes to move a Supra to the UK from Brittany.
Does anyone have any contacts or recommended companies to use?

After an accident I wanted to move my car to a repairer I trust but 175 miles away.

I found the cost was rather expensive; most were nearly £3 a mile and charged for both directions (so around £1k for 350 miles in total).

I might be setting up a secondary business providing this very service but at sensible prices soon; I have already bought the tow vehicle and I'm looking for a suitable transporter to tow.

I can get out there myself on the ferry, but its 8 hours each way and the car is not road legal in the UK until I get it MOT'd... (The ferry gets in at 6pm on Saturday so can;t even get it booked for an MOT)

No joy with circuit 2 circuit, they are based too far north for it to be financially viable

I always use Unitruc to get my cars to and from South of France.

There's no time limit on the MOT. Why not make the appointment for first thing on Monday morning, drive the car directly to the station and leave it on their forecourt?
