I've just had a major problem with the fuel pump, and with all the other little problems adding to it I was getting me down - adding to this I have been rebuilding for 2 years and I'm so close to driving it any distance for the first time.

So I thought I would bite the bullet and hand it over to an auto electrician........at a considerable cost due to time taken to fault find etc etc.

But before doing that I thought I'd post a technical post and hope for the best (1 step forward 2 back), I got lots of technical help in return, some of which I dismissed (big mistake as it was the right answer!), but on re-reading and further posts I got heading in the right direction again - with the end result that it is now working - I really believe I've saved £100's of pounds - this site is the dogs-doodahs

Couldn't agree more. I have never failed to get the answer to a question I have had, no matter how obscure - someone will always have been there before you!

It's a scratch pad, you know when you walk through the door of any ordinary Motor Factors your up against it, I decided that I would do as much as I could myself and I was losing the battle, as you say somebody has done it before.............

I see from your posts that you're far more advanced than me - ultimate engine mods etc - I'm more basic in my needs, just getting a car mobile/useable. But the information is superb, can't put a price on it......well pleased.
