f***ing w**ker b***ards. spend f***ing hundreds of f***ing pounds on a sodding numberplate and then the w**kers go and make it impossible to use how you intended, b***ards! Come one Ted, give me a contact, give me a name (and address)... I want blood....! On a serious, and slightly less deflamatory note. I wonder if there's some way we can report the DVLA to the trading standards? Anyone know how you'd do that?

Guess it depends on what they change the font to as to how it will look now. Typical bloody beaurocrats though eh? Sell a plate for top money because it MAY look like something else then nick everyone for having them! We should go the American route where you can have whatever you like and keep it for life.

I,ve got the new regs re reg plates if you want them. As far as the DVLA is concerned they have always given out leaflets explaining the correct spacing and pointing out the fines etc for mis-representing the plates, so I dont thgink you will get very far, but we have had this discussion before I think, and we didn't agree then. Let me know if you want the details I have, and I will see if I can get them to you.

The number plate supplier's details also have to appear at the bottom of the plate...

Given the date of the first post, I suspect the OP has calmed down a bit by now.

On another note, why on earth revive an 11 year old thread anyway?
