Thanks to Stratstone Tyne and Wear

Just want to say a thank you to the Aston Martin service team at Stratstone Tyne and Wear for the work they have just undertaken on my Vantage. They went the extra mile for me which is most appreciated. Just wanted to share with nothern owners - we are all quick to criticise and its nice to be able to say another good thing about Stratstone (I know there was a similar thread a week or two ago about a different branch).

Indeed, you are right .. I had a rattle on the sat nav - only when the unit was retracted - when going over bumps or B road type surfaces. They spent a day and a half tracking it down and coming up with the solution which involved fashioning 2 fibre washers and putting them where they were needed to stop it. This was after trying the factory approved methods. In my view they went the extra mile by not giving up or attempting a temporary fix such as grease. Very happy with them
