Or had dealings with Mortimers prestige? Looks nice to me and seller seems to have a decent enough array of vehicles?

guess no one knows the car or the dealer then smile

Not sure if that's good (no horror stories) or bad (no-one has seen nice cars with the seller before

As the car is one of countless thousands and the dealer is a non-specialist, there is little chance of anyone knowing the car and slim chance of anyone knowing the dealer (but slightly more likely). So I wouldn't conclude anything at all from the lack of response. Car looks quite tidy in the pics FWIW.

Fair points. Holding deposit paid now anyway so I’ll be in a position to impart some wisdom (or not) in the next week or so hopefully

The guys name is Paul Noon.

Used to own www.jamespaul.co.uk Don't know but was told he had retired.
Never bought any thing from him.

Think he left JPaul about a year ago.

Not much use I know.

Just picked up my 996 from Paul on Friday, great guy, well known in classic and sport circles, specialises in Porsche and really knows his stuff, Chris Cobley (Diablo engineering) does all the prep of his cars, well worth a look he gets some great quality cars in. Also has a lovely collection.
Paul also wrote the no steer buyers guide in on of the classic car mags a month or so ago. Hope that helps.
