Tamora Hood bag
Discussion
Bought my Tam from new and didn't come with a hood cover. Leven one for the Griff/Chim fits though. After 7 years of use, mine is starting to look shabby.
As for boot hinge mod - there is a slightly easier way to do that:
unscrew the strut from both ends, place a rubber washer on the thread on each end and then put back on the car. Increases the angle of the boot lid when open, perhaps not by 40mm but certainly enough to make it much easier to get the roof in and out.

Did the Tamora's come with a hood bag from the factory?
I did see a hood section advertised on t'bay that came with a hood bag, but wasn't sure if it was original or not.
My centre section has wear marks from the lower light covers in the boot.
I bought that item, the bag is not a perfect fit so don't think it was originaly made for the Tamora, probably from a griff. only bought it for the bag but I do have plans for the roof section now, going to try to put a "sun roof" in it I did see a hood section advertised on t'bay that came with a hood bag, but wasn't sure if it was original or not.

My Tamora came with a hood bag not sure it was a factory item but it looks a simple piece of kit to make yourself. Mine has a Velcro flap to seal the bag closed and two grab straps for easy lifting .It's definitely worth having one. It's stops the roof been mark/damaged when I cram my tent and camping gear in for Le-Mans
