1 cup in US recipe terms is about 240 ml or 2.4 dl.

It is a student recipe and just says use all purpose flour

'All purpose flour' is an American term for 'self-raising flour'.

A 'cup' in US recipe terms is 250 ml. Same measure for liquids and solids, confounding as that may be.

As the recipe includes baking powder yes it must be plain flour. So 1 cup(2dl) will be 100gms?
