Hi guys

Anybody any real world experience with the DR520 run out model?
With all the extra power, is this car fairly easy to use as a daily driver, especially considering the typical weather that will coming over the next few months?
Would I be better of with one of the new shape C63's insted of trying to find an 'older' 520 model?
And final question do we think the 520 model will hold any sort of premium, residual wise against the other C63 models?

Cheers
Max

Doesn't it have the old, horrible dash?
That would knock out any premium imho.

Yes it does. I would definitely get a facelift C63 instead because of this and its superior gearbox.

I didn't realise the dash in these cars had changed that much. I know the dash in the 520 is alcantara and I do understand the gearbox in the new is meant to be more superior?

Does anybody on PH actually have a DR520?

O/t giz, don't see you much on TSN these days, you still frequenting

I think they only made 20?

It's the old dash with the pop out display, the newer model will have the newer integrated sat nav dash, newer, colour speedo and better iPod/Bluetooth connectivity, NTG4.5 as opposed to NTG4, so you can add poi's to the map (ie speed camera sites!). I dont really see a reason to go for that run out model over the newer one with the performance pack plus which will give you similar performance and a longer remaining manufacturers warranty

DR520 is not worth it.

The standard PPP car dyno'd at 507 and with the Brabus ECU 511.

When Brooklands were shifting the DR520 their GFV on finance was a mere £1000 more than a basic spec PPP car.
