Hi

I am trying simulate the scheme the yellow beast was in when TVR raced her!

The problem I am having is finding a close up pic of the side to see what the sponser logos are! I have most of the pic off the car from that time but none which give me a close up!
I even freeze-framed a video and took a pic of that which gave me some info!

But certain parts of this I still can't read!
Like the wording under "Cars"

We think the bottom logo is "Compomotive Rims" but what the font is we have no idea!

So I am asking for help!

Has anybody got a close up pic of the side of the car showing the logos etc they can send me!

I am trying to have this done in time for the Classic Car Show at the NEC in mid November, when she is on the TVRCC stand!

Thanks

Andy

If I remember, wasn't the small writing: "a Link House Publication".

Hi Mark

Yes thats the main wording thanks and I have also had a e-mail from Compomotive Wheels giving me a copy of the logo they used at that time!

So I think Neil at Race-Graphics has a job on his hands to sort them for me!

Thanks for your help!

Andy

I also posted this request on the TVRCC forum and got even better response! Thanks to you all!

Will you put the original wheels and bonnet back on, be a shame to lose the current set up with the air filters through the hood?

Hi

The wheels are being changed to the original Compomotive wheels.

The hood/bonnet is staying as it is now. To change that would mean a complete change to the engine etc!

The original one off roof has been remade and refitted by D&C trim and hopefully will be back with me in a week or two after Surface & Design have repaired a couple of damaged areas of the body!

Just in time for us to refit the original exhaust (Not the quite one as presently fitted ) put the refurbished wheels on the correct sign/logos and the new rear lights (Courtesy of Wyn) all in time for the Classic Car show at the NEC on the 16th 17th and 18th of November!

Good to see this car's back in the limelight. Any chance of getting Steve Cole reunited with car for the NEC show?

I have asked the TVRCC if they could organise that!

We will see if they can pull it off as it would be nice to see him with the car!
