wanted to trace some service history for a potential purchase & was wondering what history I could dig up as owner has 'lost' booklet.

There are a few LR dealers on PistonHeads I think LHD is one?

Land Rover don't have a central service history register.

I'm afraid that it's a DDW to see if their has been warranty claims and to try and piece it together from there i'm afraid.
