When using the heater on my R53 no problem at all. When i press the aircon button it sounds really noisey like I can hear a fan spinning?

Any ideas? Could it be an issue with the aircon itself?

Sounds fairly normal to me. When you turn the air-con on the fan should come on intermitantly to keep engine cool as working harder?
