Dukes of Hazzard Horn

We all remember the old dukeboys horn, you hear them now and again on the road

I love it, but cant actually make up my mind if getting one would be a good laugh, or a bit too much like a lax power accessory.

Girlfriend thinks getting one for the TIV is a fantastic idea for grins and giggles, which is why I'm considering one as I can think of a few scenarios where it would be very funny/enjoyable to use ocasionally. Are they bit too cheese, or a good laugh?

I thought about doing the horn up in the Tusc. The I had it a new set of cans and a decat. Now I just rev the engine if I want to get anyone's attention...

Do like the idea for saying "hi" to people, but I couldn't, in all seriousness, slam my hand on the horn in fit of rage at some arse cutting me up and inflict Dixie on them. Wouldn't really state my frame of mind.

What about one that goes "get outta the way, dopey" in a Crocodile Dundee voice? I actually did his on Gregory Boulevard in Nottingham some years back.

I was passing an MX5 (I think) on my Harley in an open-faced helmet, with a doddery bint in front. As I passed the MX5, I shouted out the above, with CD accent, the MX5 driver was in stitches.

I have a 5 trumpet set of La cucharacha, brand new boxed, never used if anyone is interested.....

Or I might just go and put it on ebay, might make more there... :-)

Beware buying a cheap one. My mate bought one for his Trans Am and it didn't reset to the start of the tune automatically. Doesn't have the same effect when you start in the middle.

It also gunked up in about 2 weeks and operated at half speed. That's before you worry about where you're going to mount 5 airhorns.
