Exhaust note perfection

Being new to Aston Martin (10 days) - I was wondering if there are any tips to get the best exhaust sound as lower speeds. I am not asking for the removal of the Fuse 22 (or 3 in my case with a Rapide) - more about gearshift/throttle, rpms, timing etc.

Occasionally I get it perfectly right (for my ears anyway) - but can't really replicate it always...

Any tips/tricks appreciated (I do not have a manual gearbox obviously from the model)

Guess we'll need to wait for a Rapide owner to comment. In my V8V with fuse 22 removed the exhaust note is great cruising at 2500 rpm and anything over 4000 rpm.

Accelerate, then come off the accelerator pedal slightly (not completely) forcing an up shift at 5000rpm... Enjoy the lovely crackling between the gear changes. 3rd to 4th, I enjoy most. From memory though so will correct (if mistaken) after I take the car out on Saturday..

I do have the added benefit of the BR 200 cell cats, but remember enjoying it too when running the standard cats.

Make sure you are focussing on the road ahead and not the tachometer
