Due to six points I have stupidly agreed to restrict the miles I put on the Griff to 3000 a year in order to reduce my insurance premiumfrown Well i suppose I also resented banging the milleage up on my car as a daily driver to work and the shops as its a keeper and i want her foreversmile As a a milleage avoidance tool I have been using a motorbike in the rain as my primary mode of transport. I love motorbikes and every time I hop on one I feel full of life. I've not used the griff for two weeks. But tonight had to take the girlfriend to work so got it out and wow, how I've missed hersmile The pleasure of driving her down the M1 in the rain at a low rate of leptons was much more than flipping the wrist back on the bike. I'm now unsure as to which is even the more unsafe mode of transport in the wet. I can generally at least go in a straight line on my bike when I nail it. Same cant be said for the griff....Actually my first post for some weird reason despite reading this forum religiously for the best part of 5 years?smile

I love my Griff but I would dearly love another bike too. Sadly the last bike I owned was a Gpz900R A1 which gives you an indication of how long ago it was frown

HQ would divorce me if I got another.....hmmmm scratchchin

Worn low tread tyres on griff? Or tyres over 6 years old going hard. Old Bridgestones etc. Mine were 11 years old, bl...dy, bl...dy lethal!. New tyres are a revelation.
