Can I order a new C-Class wagon with the V6 diesel but in Elegance (or Executive SE Luxury Pack or whatever they call it now) specification? The AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus thing is not really my bag but the facelift C wagon is quite appealing. Dolomite over Almond Beige with Gloss Burr Walnut, please.

I don't think you can get the 'Elegance' spec any longer. I bought a C-Class wagon Elegance with the V6 diesel in March this year. Cavansite blue over pale grey with gloss burr walnut. A great car if you can find one.

It's for my old man. He's a company car driver. Has a Prius and a C320 CDI at the moment. Interestingly, it was a Cavanasite over grey car that made him look more closely.

Mercedes UK have decided that the UK doesn't want a beige interior, or want an Elegance model on any of the range either.

The press videos for the E Class and the C Class are Elegance, and have beige leather and look lovely, but Mercedes UK won't let you order one.

The Elegance spec was killed off in a recent update, there is a vague equivalent, but it is sport based.

The Executive SE Luxury Package (puke) includes Elegance trim according to the online configurator and would appear to match the Elegance trim available in Germany. However, for some bizarre reason, that trim level is available only on the C200 and C220. If you want a six, you have to have Sport trim. Taste is a matter of taste and all that, but the Sport trim is not to mine. (I mean, what Sport do you use it for?) I wondered whether one could have Elegance (or Executive SE Luxury Package if you insist) with a six cylinder on a special order?

I'd like to think it was possible, but I suspect MB UK aren't that co-operative. I had a similar thought when I looked at A Class specs last month. I was interested in the 200 cdi, but not the Sport spec (and especially the larger wheels). However the 200 cdi engine was available in Germany with their equivalent to SE spec.
