Half width text box

After switching from IE to Firefox, the text box where you type a post has become half the width it used to be. Is it something I've done or does anyone else have this problem?

... which doesn't happen when you change Firefox' user agent to Internet Explorer; which means that there is no technical need for a smaller text box. Ted, is there something le chef du code can do?

Yep, I'm aware of the problem. It was a hack for Netscape doing weird things.

I have a cunning plan though
