And at least you still have access to another TVR as well!
Yep - I think I have just about managed to persuade Phil not to sell his now, shame I can't reach the pedals to drive it but I will make the most of his passenger seat until mine is back on the road.
Lots of different possible plans in the pipeline - I heard today that maybe it will be sorted with some Sooty Magic in the near future.
Bert, you will know what I mean

Look on the bright side Claire, all things happen for a reason . Just imagine a nice 300bhp cossie 24V screaming under your right foot is even closer now

Shame Phil still won't be able to get into it....
More room in the passenger seat than in the Chim though

Good on Sooty.. Excellent chap. Drop me a line before you drop the car off; if I'm around we must catch up..
If this involves a hand up someone's arse, I think it's best left off PH..

must be joking. Even with the battery in the footwell the Chim is twice the size! Seriously mate, if you are passing pop in and try and get into Claire's S. Either that or when its finally back up and running have a go. I used to have no problems with my S3 but Claires not only has the shorter doors, but the whole cockpit is shorter. Even when I am in the car I cant put the seat far enough back to drive it! On the flip side of that coin ( a pretty crap flip side to a 6' 3" bloke) is that the boot is longer as a consequence. I noticed that when I went to put the roof panels in the car and realised they could go any way around you wanted, whereas in mine I had to put them in a certain order.

Why is this Phill? I can put the roof panels in mine pretty much most ways.
no idea mate. I could only lay my roof panels in my S sideways - as in the clips towards the top of the boot. On Claires I can put them the other way around too if I want, as in the slips facing towards the side of the boot. You can actually physically see the boot is longer (or deeper whatever!) when you look at it. Bridgdav was around mine not so long ago and noticed it too. Quite odd
