997 turbo - sport mode / PASM not working

Another issue with my car a gen 1 997 turbo. Basically I don't think the sport mode / PASM is working properly. The ride in 'normal' is a touch harsher than it used to be and when 'sport' is engaged the additional turbo output is there, however the enhanced sensitivity of the throttle in ‘sport’ used to be unmistakable but now I can’t really feel much difference and whilst the ride does definitely get firmer it doesn’t deliver the really sharp handling that pressing sport used to provide. I raised it with the dealer when they serviced it earlier in the week and they test drove it and said that all was well. I know it’s not my imagination.

The issue followed the car spending 3 weeks at the dealers for a mysterious electrical problem (which was never explained but went away). I wondered if there was perhaps a known software upgrade that might have been downloaded while they had the car that altered the characteristics of the sport mode? Or if anyone else has had this issue?

Never had an issue in the 3.5 years I've owned mine. Saying that, it's never been to an OPC for any servicing/updates etc within my ownership.
