Has anyone used this website? We are having difficulties getting an answer from them either on email or phone. Ordered a Tag watch strap part a month ago and have heard nothing.

Hi there, have you heard anything from watchpart.co.uk since posting and did you get your order? I have recently placed an order (not received) for a few items and have heard nothing also. I have attempted to contact by phone and email, the phone just rings off and there is no response by email. Just wondering if the site is some kind of scam?

Hi there. Sorry - should have updated the post. We did hear back from them eventually. There was a delay getting the part from Tag. Communication from them could have been better though...

A few people on TZ-UK have had bad dealings with watchpart.co.uk. I don't think you can see the "Heros & Villains" section until you have reached a certain number of posts but the thread is here:

http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?243825-watch...

Some buyers involved PayPal, Sage Pay, credit card company etc and got refunds.

I found them slow, totally unhelpful (I ended up waiting around 6 weeks for a couple of spare links).

Their number just rings out.

I did find for Tags that the Tag boutiques could order in spare links at a fraction of the price watchpart wanted.

Just to add my 2p's worth as I'm in the same situation to the OP.

Ordered 18th Feb, payment taken almost immediately, e-mail received a day later to let me know they're "processing" my order and then nothing, for over a month! I could understand it if I'd ordered an unusual component but this is only a clasp spring for my seamaster.

Their phone number just rings out, I even signed up to their support site to make e-mail enquiries (complete waste of time imo). I've now raised several "tickets" about my order and not had one reply.

I've ended up going elsewhere for the same part (at half the price may I add) and am now in the process of recovering my payment.

Over a year on and this company are still doing the same thing....taking your money and then pretty much ignoring you!

Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy chasing refunds through Visa etc!
