Hi guys.
The threads for the wheel nuts on my brother´s (RIP) wedge are a little beat-up. Since it is a quite rare 350 FHC I am planning to get it fully sorted over the time. Instead of cutting new ones I was thinking of replacing the whole lot, together with new brakes at the front. Brakes at the front, AFAIK are Ford Granada MKII, XJ6 at the rear, but what about the hubs front and rear. Can anybody help, preferrably with a source to order the parts.

Cheers,
Björn.

Hi Björn...The front brake's and caliper's were essentially based on a Ford granada MK2 and the rear brakes are inboard XJS or XJ6 circa 1978-82...No rear hubs...Hopefully someone else can confirm as well...Cheers..Ziga

Thanks, OK, but how to replace the studs then?

Regards,

I just had a rummage around on the internet, apart from being round and having splines and 5 studs, I can't see a LR hub that looks like the Wedge one.

as we know, the rear hub bearings are Ford Granada, but I always thought the hub carrier castings were TVR specials...

Front Hub assemblies and uprights are granada mk2 (the square one) but front arms are Cortina IV/V.

And I thought most wheel bolts simply tap out backwards and are splined - the trouble is to make sure you get the right ones.... I think the bolts might be the same as Cortina IV too, not quite sure though.
