Any got first hand experiance of them?

I've looking for a 6" All-mountain type bike to replace my stolen Spicy 516.

It'll have to be second-hand probably a 2010, but there are lots to choose from it seems.

I notice most are be built up as 5" style trail bikes with Fox 32's or the like using the slightly shorter travel setting but can bebuilt burlier with 36's - this is the way I'd go, probably adding a coil spring later on.

It's for smashing around trail centres, and bike parks so needs to be tough.

Am I trying to make it something they're not?

No first hand experience but I hear they have a reputation for alignment issues of the rear triangle, may be worth having a search about this if you were going second hand.

I have a Tracer 2 and would definitely reccommend it, best bike I've ever owned.

Mines a large in raw, Angleset headset, Fox 36's, Cane Creek double barrel, Saint brakes, Slx 2x9. I use it for trail riding, DH uplift days, trips to the Alps, everything.

Being honest, it's well OTT for the average trail, but perfectly manageable for an all day ride, and so much fun going fast down hill.

Don't worry too much about frame alignment issues, google just about any bike you can think of and you'll turn up tales of snapped and faulty frames. As it happens, I'm not sure the Tracer II has ever suffered from alignment problems.

Get one, you won't regret it.
