Door Solenoids

I have a 96 Chimaera, it has the silver buttons on the rear quarter to open the doors NOT the button under the mirror.

The drivers door "pops" open when I press the button, or turn the knob whereas the passenger one doesn't.

I know that "later" models have 2 solenoids per door but does mine have a "pop open" solenoid or is it purely mechanical.... And how come one door pops and the other doesn't?

I'll pop the rear void panel off in the morning to look, but if anyone is up late and happens to know please feel free to post

If you have the older style buttons on top of the rear quarter, then they are mechanical.

If you flip the seat forward and pull back the velcro'd on panel you should see everything at work.
