Sorry we couldn't make it in the end - kitchen sprung a leak which needed investigating!

Glad you had a good run!

Hope we'll see you next time!

Yes, we did make rapid progress on the way home, and we weren't hanging about on our way to Fernhurst either!! Great wasn't it. I was of coarse just keeping up with the car in front which just happened to be Nicks bright yellow cerbie, or on the Fernhurst run, Darty's rather noisey Tuscan S. All in all a great day, and thanks to those who turned up in the drizzle.

Sorry to hear about your plumbing problems Liz, hope all is o.k. now.

I also nominate Ed as official Horsham photographer.

Roll on the next meet.

Blimey Ed, you got them posted quickly!
Good to meet you and the others... glad I put the roof on for the journey home otherwise I'll have needed to bail out.

Spirited drive home? Good job I didnt put him into 4th I think we upset a few day trippers to Petworth on the way back through?

Good day out, nice meeting everyone, shame it was a fleeting hello cosmos. Distance award to Darty (bloody outsider's nickin' the awards)

Ed, thanks for not posting any photos that showed how filthy my car was

Derek, I'm sure if you ask in the wedges forum there'll be a wedge or two for Gail for sale, dont be so mean!

May have done MM, but we overtook everything in our path & I dont look back at what's behind, always look forward

So, where abouts did we meet this rover then?

No Tim, the previous owner had them stripped and polished. Shamefully, the last time they where polished was when the previous owner did them, but they still clean up nicely

Perhaps you and Marcos Maniac share the same alarm clock?
But you only just missed us, we left at 11.25. You missed a good run, but keep your eyes open for the next one, working on it as we speak. Must find a way of getting rid of that yellow cerbie though, damn thing kept holding us up!!! : :

You're still a better timekeeper than me, Incorrigible. I turned up at 2.30 at the pub just as they were all leaving! However, it was nice to meet you chaps (and ladies) albeit briefly

Umm, Derek, what are you trying to say? Surely not?

Oh, & BTW Derek, feel free to overtake anytime you think I'm holding you up, I know you are the official organiser & pathfinder, I appologise for momentarily forgetting my place in the group...
s humbly

As the Cobra owners were MIA, try to pick a venue where we dont scare the opposition off before they get there

The motors look good in market square

I really have no excuse for missing it as the duke hadn't even warmed up by the time I got there

If anyone fancies a pub lunch of a weekend, with or without a run, I'm always available to talk bollox

This weekend i have to work, well most of it anyway.
But because the weather is looking good, and lets be honest ,we may not get too many more nice weekends, I.ve decided to take a couple of hours out (or 3...or 4)and have a drive and a pint.

Anybody else interested?
I was thinking of the White Hart at Stopham, and then maybe a rumble through Arundel on the way home, just to annoy/delight the last of the tourists.
Carfax again?

Cheers

Derek.

I'm working this weekend I'm afraid, but had an email that one of the local regions (I'll take a stab in the dark it's East Sussex) are going to be at the Bighton Speed Trials Saturday and have limited parking at the marina, if anyone is interested?

Ive done the Speed Trials before, anyone fancy having a go next year? (hmm, before I commit myself, better see if the gorilla size race suit still fits...otherwise it'll make a nice cover for the cerb!)
