The weather that is? Just back from 6 weeks away to find we're experiencing something called 'winter' frown I vaguely remember we had this same problem around this time last year, gets dark early, gets light late, the sky's full of dark stuff, roads are wet and there's bloody slippy tree foliage everywhere. Only managed about 3000 miles in beasty this year, and although she started almost first turn of the key night before last, I sensed a certain reluctance in her. Almost like she knew the world outside the garage wasn't a nice place to be now. She's still in the garage, nice and warm and dry, and I'm staring out the window wondering if I should do some housework... or waken the beast again... decisions decisions scratchchin

OK, in the last 5 minutes water has started falling out the sky in large quantities and the wind's blowing a hoolie. I'm trying to find a positive in this but so far no joy frown

Gorgeous day here in Cheshire, lovely opportunity to take ours out for a pub lunch, roof down, woolly hat on. SO WHY AM I GOING OUT TO WORK INSTEAD???

Pub lunch you say?

Water still falling from the sky here in Norfolk, only it's solidifying into small balls of ice before it hits the ground....

Thermals schmermals ... just driven from Heathrow to Salisbury in jeans and a t-shirt with no roof ... sure it was cold but just let the girlfriend / missis help you find your nuts afterwards.

A few clouds but mostly sunny near Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. Heavy frost overnight though and not forecast to get much above 5 degrees all day.

Bassfiend, lol....Not enough to roll a ball I'm afraid but I was out at 7.32 as I had left the cover off the car. Mrs thought I had lost the plot as I bolted out the front door in my boxers.

Been there, done that when I've woken up and seen it raining outside and I parked up and didn't put the soft cover over the night before.

Came piling down the outside sprial stairs from the flat in my dressing gown and only later did my landlord mention that perhaps I should consider putting on boxers if I'm going to be charging around like that again. hehe

snowing a little here in Grenoble, wind is blowing with grey skies, my baby is tucked up for the winter, wheels off the ground and cover on, so if the sun comes out there is no chance of driving down the road to the pub for a drink or lunch, so it looks like more coffee and look out the window like a lonely dog...

However, you have the fantastic mountains, winter sports and stunning scenery to admire :-)
