On the front page, top right, there's no 'Log In | Become a PHer' buttons.





Whereas there are if you've clicked 'Forums' to go to the forums, and then 'Login' to go back to the main site.




Doesn't encourage people to become a member (or even realise that you can, unless you've gone out to the forum to then get back to the main site).

Firefox, if it makes a difference.

That's intentional. The front page is static so even if you're logged in the front page doesn't have the ability to tell if you are.

It's intentional to not let people know that they can become a PHer?

They can Become a PHer on any other page. It's confusing to have the link on the front page because you can Become a PHer on both the forum or the classifieds. On the front page we have no idea how they're going to use PistonHeads so it's best to let them register when they've progressed further into the site.
