Hi PHers!

Greeting from Malaysia and i must say Piston heads is one of the greatest Auto website and forum i can find.

I've been driving my Green/Black RS for the past 3 years and had recently received an 'Ass banged' by a lady driver in a heavy rain condition. Although no major damage other than body parts, now considering to change the colour scheme of the cars.

I've seen the Orange/Black, Black/Orange, Silver/orange, Green/Black, White/Black so far. Let's say i'm thinking something different from the factory, you guys have any in mind? all comments welcome, thanks!!

I would stick with the green / black you have - relatively rare colour and suits the car (IMHO).
Also, green 997.1 RS seem to command a premium here as a second hand purchase compared with the other factory colours.

Failing that I rekon Guards Red with black decals and wheels would look good.

By the way, 'ass banging' usually means something different here (and don't google for 'ass banged by a lady' whatever you do...)

My preference would also be to leave it in factory green. Looks great IMHO. Only alternatives for me would be Riviera or Mexico blue with black

Maritime blue would be my choice, its my fave colour of all time BUT I would leave the green, they still look fab!

I've always thought that black with silver would look good, but have to agree with other advice to stick with green/black.

I was nearly ass banged by a lady once but that is another story.

I'd keep it green, but if you have to change and wanted something outlandish, maybe a Gulf Livery like this one on flickr

Changing colours will remove the premium & may introduce a discount for a changed colour

I think that is certain. Whether this matters to the op is unknown.

Keep it green with the paint but if you fancy a colour change get the car wrapped then when your bored with the wrap you will still have your original green colour underneath.

^ this is probably the best solution.
