Not used it to stop leaks on the Cerbera, but I have used it on various Jaguar steering racks. It is highly effective and does exactly what it say on the bottle. For once it really is not snake oil. Note - it does not swell the seals like most "leak stop" products.

Obviously it is not as good as repairing the rack properly, but it is an acceptable temporary repair that I have known to last upwards of 5 years. In fact it improves the feel of power steering so much that I use it instead of ATF in all my cars, Cerbera included.

No connection with the seller - just a happy user.

I tried it in mine but it didn't stop the leak.

It's basically a "thicker" version of normal power steering fluid.

Check your local auto factors, they probably have it on the shelf.

I found it made the steering a bit too heavy.
Also a bit paranoid that it could be to much of a strain on the fragile (key) Cerbera pump so took it out .

I notice it said Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak.

Might be with getting one of these to go with it:

I didn't have to worry about that ... it made it's own way out of mine fairly quickly.

I put some of that in my Cerb after a steering rack rebuild lasted less than a year, 10K miles later it's still doing what it says on the tin.

Hello

Resurrecting this thread as my steering rack is weeping on one of the seals, just a drop here and there.

I had an advisory on my mot last month.

I'm hoping to drive to Italy at the end of the month and will get the rack refurbished over winter.

But the link at the top of the thread isn't live anymore.

Could someone be kind enough to confirm that the "Stop Leak" referred to in the broken link is this:
Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak.

Many thanks
