Take a drive up to Gloucester (about 2.5 hours) and Paul at Bathwick Tyres will replace the box with "boosters" for £180.. Boosters are like Cherry Bombs but without the brand name..
I'm sure someone will be along soon with a more local option...
Where abouts in Glous are you? I'm only in Reading, would like a listen sometime. Does your pop on the over run? I'm sure someone will be along soon with a more local option...

I'm in Churchdown which is just outside of Gloucester City (just off the A417 if you came across country from Swindon).I should be in Reading on the 10th November for a fireworks do (it's at the Red & White's clubhouse if you know where that is) otherwise you'd be very welcome to pop over for a cup of tea sometime

If you mean in terms of "noise" then it's close... Straight through would mean removal of the pre-cats and cats and sleeving the whole of the silencer (or removing it). Sleeved means replacing the perforated pipes in the silencer with straight tube (so you lose the sound damping effect of the silencer).
Cherry Bombs tend to mean replacing the silencer, either with removal of the precats and cats or not (personal choice).
You can also "half sleeve" the silencer if you're worried that a fully sleeved one might be too loud..
There are a couple of good "instructional" videos on youtube for sleeving...but it is a fairly straightforward thing to do (if you can weld)..

Right, makes sense now thanks. Cherry Bombs tend to mean replacing the silencer, either with removal of the precats and cats or not (personal choice).

So....removing the silencer and instering tubes/pipes would make it noiser than what you have done on yours? Is that correct?

Hi I am in Winnersh and mine has removed Pre-cats and a sleeved box if you would like to have a listen. The sleeved box was done at Racing green around £150 a few years back now.So....removing the silencer and instering tubes/pipes would make it noiser than what you have done on yours? Is that correct?
